Fashion Knitting & Vintage Knitting Projects

I was taught to knit as a little girl but only started knitting seriously a couple of years ago. It’s such a great hobby as it is very portable (great for the tube) and something you can do in front of the TV or when you are feeling poorly. There are a huge number of great knitting patterns and yarns available enabling you to create beautiful one off garments that would otherwise be very difficult to find. Below is a log of my recent knitting endeavours and you can also find me on Ravelry (as auntiemimis), a great site for knitters.

Finesse is described as a collection ‘inspired by the retro influences of the late 1950’s and early 1960’s…that heralds a return to feminine curves’.
